SOLAR SYSTEM FORMATION

(19/04/2023)

Aurélien Crida is a lecturer at the Université Côte d'Azur and at the Observatoire de la Côte d'Azur since 2009. After a thesis on planetary migration during the formation of the solar system at the Nice Observatory, he did post-doctoral stays in Tübingen, Germany and Cambridge, UK. He was a junior member of the Institut Universitaire de France between 2014 and 2019. His research focuses on planet formation in general, and in particular the gravitational interactions between young planets and the disk of gas and dust in which they form, or between Saturn's satellites and its rings. He is also interested in the characterization of exoplanets, whose population brings constraints to the models of migration and planetary formation.
